The team then signed free agent Nik Antropov to a 4-year $16 million contract and claimed former Ottawa Senator Christoph Schubert off the waiver wires. The team also resigned 17 players, most notably Anssi Salmela (2-yr $1.225 million), Marty Reasoner (2-yr $2.3 million), Kari Lehtonen (1-yr $3 million) and Colby Armstrong (2-yr $2.4 million).The team is currently sitting in 10th place in the NHL Eastern Conference with a 25-24-9 record.
